Dr. Felicia Neuman, DVM
With her love for animals and medicine, Dr. Neuman founded Summit Animal Hospital in December 2015. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A & M University and has specialties in emergency and critical care, dentistry, geriatric care, and animal behavior. To stay current on the latest in veterinary medicine, she is affiliated with the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association. She also regularly completes continuing education courses in emergency medicine, dentistry, animal behavior, and geriatric care. Over the years, she has enjoyed helping families strengthen and enjoy the relationship with their pets, and she looks forward to many more of these opportunities throughout her career.
Dr. Neuman is married and has three sons: Jeffrey, Jr., Matthew, and Keller. Jeffrey, Jr. is enrolled at St. Mary’s College, Matthew is enrolled at Washington College, and Keller is in grade school. She is also a proud pet mom of a Belgian sheepdog named Vanna and two corn snakes named Striper and Striker. Sadly, she recently lost her 12-year-old bearded collie, Micki. In her spare time, she busies herself with family activities as well as agility, obedience, and rally training with her dogs.
